Ahoy There Young Mateys! Galway City Sailing Club Sets Sail with Junior Academy 2024 on Sunday 14 April!
Calling all future sea captains! The Galway City Sailing Club is launching its Junior Academy, Series 1 for 2024! This is your chance to learn the ropes (literally!), whether you’re a complete landlubber or already know your port from starboard.
Open to all ages 8 to 18 (and experience levels!), the Academy will have instructors guiding both newbie sailors and future America’s Cup champions. The six-week course starts on Sunday, April 14th and runs every Sunday afternoon for a swashbucklin’ time from 1 PM to 4 PM. If the weather tries to play pirate and messes things up, we’ll just make up the session later.
Cost be between €120 and €170, depending on if you’re already a club member or not. That’s a small price to pay for a lifetime of nautical adventures!
