Galway City Sailing Club, located just two minutes from the Harbour Hotel in Galway, is thrilled to offer its Easter Junior Sailing Course 2025. This course is perfect for young sailors of all levels, from Beginner to Improver (10-12 years) to Intermediate to Advanced (12-18 years).
This Irish Sailing (IS) Accredited Course is not only a fantastic way for juniors to develop their sailing skills and confidence on the water, but also a chance to make new friends and enjoy plenty of fun activities. The club also features a dedicated training room, ensuring that participants gain both practical and theoretical knowledge to enhance their sailing experience.

- Limited Places: Maximum of 16 participants, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Course Structure
This four-day course is designed to enhance participants’ sailing abilities based on their level of experience.
- Beginner to Improver (10-12 years) – Ideal for those starting out or looking to refine basic skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced (12-18 years) – For more experienced sailors seeking to develop advanced techniques and racing skills.
Pricing
- €160 – Members with own boat
- €200 – Members using club boat
- €230 – Non-members (using club boat)

What to Bring
- Essential Gear: Wetsuit, wet shoes, fleece, hat, and sunscreen.
- Buoyancy Aids: Provided for juniors (10-12 years). Youths (13-18 years) should bring their own if possible.
