Irish Sailing Safety Boat Course

The Irish Sailing Safety Boat Course is a two-day programme designed to enhance your ability to provide safety cover for water sports activities. Held on May 11th and 12th at Galway City Sailing Club, the course covers a variety of essential skills including preparing a rescue boat, towing disabled vessels, lee-shore recovery and search patterns. To participate, you’ll need a National Powerboat Certificate (Level 2) or equivalent qualification with 20 hours of logged driving experience. The course costs €250 for Galway City Sailing Club members and €350 for non-members.
