Inclusion Power Boating with Galway City Sailing Club: A FREE Family Event
Galway City Sailing Club is excited to announce a special opportunity for families to experience the joy of power boating! Join us for our Inclusion Power Boating event, designed specifically for children with intellectual disabilities aged 8-18. This FREE event will take place on two dates: July 27th and August 3rd, from 2pm to 5pm.

Location:
Galway City Sailing Club
Who Can Join:
- Children with intellectual disabilities aged 8-18
- A parent or guardian
- A friend or sibling (maximum 3 people per group)
Experience:
Each family will enjoy a 30-minute tour of Galway City Sailing Club waters and Galway Harbour in our 10-person rib. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the beautiful waters of Galway in a safe and supportive environment.
Safety First
Safety is our top priority. We will provide buoyancy aides for all participants. Please be aware that the boat can be noisy, so ear defenders may be necessary to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.
Pilot Phase
This event is part of our first pilot phase and is specifically designed for low-support children. We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the thrill of power boating.
