Introduction To Sailing For Adult Beginners – Open To Members & Non-Members
Galway City Sailing Club is pleased to announce Introduction To Sailing For Adult Beginners. The course is open to club members and non-members. The course starts on May 15 2021. There are 12 places on this 16 hour course that takes place over four half days. The course will be delivered by a Senior sailing Instructor on Saturday mornings.

Adult Coaching Programme 2021 – Open To Members
Our Adult Coaching Programme is designed for club members who would like to refresh their sailing skills after the long winter break and for those members who wish to improve their sailing technique with an experienced assistant instructor in a safe and comfortable environment.
The programme runs during our regular sailing sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoon. The assistant instructor will accompany two adult sailors on board of one of our brand new Argo sailing boats. The Argo is a larger dinghy and perfect for safe and comfortable sailing and training sessions. Depending on weather conditions the participants have opportunity to learn various sailing manoeuvres and engage in different roles including helm and crew.
During the approx two hour sailing session participants have opportunity to ask questions and apply a range of different sailing skills in a safe environment.
The price for a two hour session is 50 Euro and offers exceptional value for money for our members only.

Please note: The coaching programme will depend on suitable sailing conditions and may be cancelled short notice. The training does not include wires and kites. In case of cancellation your course fee will be refunded. Please arrive half hour before the session commences and bring your personal equipment wet suit, boots and PFD.
