Galway Hooker Restoration Project Talk & Site Visit At Galway Ocean Sports Club
Galway City Sailing Club are hosting a talk for Club Members on the latest Galway Hooker Restoration Project in the city.
The talk will be about the restoration of the “Lovely Anne”, a Galway Hooker built in 1882. The talk will be followed by a visit to see the project onsite at GOSC.
It is a great opportunity, during our quiet season, to follow the progress of this exciting restoration project at first hand and to connect with Galway’s rich maritime history. Indeed some of our members have already undertaken Hooker Crew Sail Training so our connection to this project as a club is strong.
