A huge thank you to everyone who made the Galway City Sailing Club Junior Regatta 2024 such a success! We were thrilled to see so many talented young sailors from Galway City Sailing Club, Galway Bay Sailing Club and Cumann Seoltóireacht Spidéal take part in an exciting day of racing.
Your sportsmanship and enthusiasm made this event unforgettable and we look forward to seeing you on the water again soon.

In the Main Fleet, Killian Mathieu & Seán Lemonier (Galway Bay Sailing Club) took first place, followed by Sam Rigley & Jack Ganley (Galway Bay Sailing Club) in second, and Charlie Donald & James Harvey (Cumann Seoltóireacht Spidéal) in third, all competing in 420 dinghies.
In the Novice Fleet, Samuel Clarke (Galway City Sailing Club) secured first place, with Ríona Ní Aodha & Saoirse Ní Chunáin (Cumann Seoltóireacht Spidéal) in second, and Josephine Connolly & Madaline Carrol (Galway City Sailing Club) taking third.

- Own Boat Entry: Sailors with their own boats can enter for €20 for single-handed dinghies. Double-handed entries are an additional €5.
- Club Boat Entry (Members Only): Galway City Sailing Club members can rent club boats. The entry fee is €25, with an additional €5 for double-handers.
Race Fleets:
- Novice Fleet: Perfect for those new to racing, this fleet offers a supportive environment to build confidence and enjoy the thrill of competition.
- Main Fleet: For more experienced racers, the Main Fleet is where you’ll find fierce competition and the opportunity to prove your sailing prowess.
