Junior Sailing Academy – Sunday Mornings
Open to: Club Members age 8 – 18 (Ideal for those who have completed an introductory sailing course)
Level: All abilities welcome – from Beginners to Advanced
(Participants will be grouped according to experience and use own boat or club RS Feva)
Dates & Times:
Starting Sunday, 1 March 2026
Every Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00
Course runs for 6 sessions over 6 weekends:
Note: Sessions may be rolled over in the event of unsuitable weather.
Location: Galway City Sailing Club
Assistance: One or two parents each week on beach patrol welcome, to help with launch, retrieval etc
Communications: Communication regarding our Junior Sailing Academy will be via our Junior Sailing WhatsApp Group. Joining link will be in confirmation email, alternatively contact us to join if you are not already subscribed.
Join us for a fun and active sailing experience where young sailors can build confidence, improve skills and enjoy time on the water with friends.

Members, Guests and course participants grant the club / organisers the absolute right to use the images resulting from photography at the activity mentioned above. This includes any reproductions or adaptations of the images for general publicity purposes.

ISA/RYA Instructors, ISA/RYA senior instructors or ISA/RYA coaches do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury suffered by persons and/or their property arising out of or during the course of their activities whilst training and/or coaching and/or instructing unless such injury loss or damage was caused by, or resulted from negligence or deliberate act.
