Fully Coached Schools Team Racing Training
Aim is to form and train school teams for the Connacht Schools Team Racing Championships to be held in Lough Ree Sailing Club on the 9th of April 2023.
Start Date: Saturday 28th of January
Session Times: Sessions are from 10am to 1pm on Saturday Mornings
No Of Sessions: 6 sessions of which one session will be theory and the others on the water.
Boats: Boats will be provided by GCSC
Participant Eligibility: All participants must be in second level education
Team Eligibility: Ideally a team will be made up of students from the same secondary school, however if a school does not have enough sailors to complete a team they may join with sailors from another school in a similar situation to form a composite team.
Cost: €120 for club members or €140 for non-members
Water sessions are weather dependent and will be rolled over if necessary.
Non-member on the course will be considered as a club member for the duration of the course once they have paid the course fee for non-members.
